Ask the Naturopath!

Many people have questions about natural health for their animal companions, but are not sure where to turn to find the answers. There is so much conflicting information out there that it's hard to know what is fact and what is fiction, and what is just plain fear mongering. While eating raw meat is not a good idea for us humans, our carnivores are designed to eat it, and will most likely thrive on a raw diet. The key is in finding the right balance of nutrients for each individual. Trust me, it isn't rocket science.

I know all too well how confusing it is when you are trying to get started on a natural health journey for your pets. Some sources will tell you that you need to weigh every item in the animal's menu to an exact measurement, others tell you that you need to include a huge array of added minerals and vitamins. The pet food manufacturers tell you that it is just too complicated for the average pet owner to figure out. Take heart, it really isn't complicated once you learn the nuts and bolts of what it takes to properly nourish your carnivore!

When you follow nature's way of doing things, you will provide everything your companion needs for vibrant health. In some cases, supplementation is indicated to correct health imbalances in your pet, but the most important thing to keep in mind is that it's all about balance, and the key is in honoring the 8 Laws of Health. When we fail to do so, the body becomes out of balance and unwell. We only need to remember that nature provides us with what we need to maintain vibrant health, and nature's ways are easy to apply when we have the knowledge we need to do so.

It is my goal to help you find the answers you are looking for, enabling you to help your pet to be their best, and maybe gain some spring in your step in the process. The same 8 Laws of Health apply to all living creatures.

I look forward to answering your questions about natural health for your pets!

Yours in Health and Wellness,
